Getting Ready for Your Mentor

       For getting to know your mentor, you need to simply do these things over the course of the first two weeks. You need to make sure to be responsible, like arrive a couple of minutes before your scheduled arrival time. Also, you need to observe the place at which your going to be working at. Take in the feel of the space, and how the employees address each other. Also, how the others dress.
You also need to discuss details with your mentor, like the specific time and days in which you shall be coming. This article also gives us seven strategies on how to get the most out of your mentorship. They are to be professional, show enthusiasm with what you are doing, immerse yourself, always do your best work, take initiative, network, and also building your portfolio. Throughout your mentorship you need to get recognition with many important people in your field of work. Towards the end of your mentorship you do not need to start slacking off, you need to still put in as much effort as you did in the beginning. Also, it would be great to even send your mentor or the office you worked in a thank you letter thanking them for all they showed you and taught you.
